Big Bear Cycling Association . . . “Ride with Us!”

Whether you are a vacationer, visitor, second homeowner or full time resident, Big Bear Valley is one of the finest cycling areas in all of California!  Riding at 7,000 – 8,500’ is just like training with the pros and with our beautiful outdoor atmosphere, 330 days of sunshine and our clear, cool weather it just doesn’t get any better than Big Bear!  Road Bike, Mountain Bike, Cycle Cross or Cruising, in Big Bear it’s always a good day to ride!

The Big Bear Cycling Association has guided and organized rides Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday during the spring/summer/fall riding season (April/May – November).  You can view our schedule and route levels from the Open Air Big Bear Events Calendar or at the Big Bear Cycling Association website. Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation

trails-foundation-support-our-causeThe Trails Foundation is Big Bear’s non-motorized trail advocacy group. As a volunteer driven organization, we work behind the scenes to develop new trail opportunities, build and maintain our local trails, and educate the public on the diverse and amazing trails surrounding the Big Bear Valley.

Sierra Club Big Bear Group

sierra-club-logoThe Sierra Club’s members are more than 750,000 of your friends and neighbors. Inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet. The club is America’s oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization.

Sierra Club Big Bear plans many groups hikes you can find on their website. They additionally host an annual Xeriscape Garden Tour of Big Bear Valley, featuring homes with water-wise yards.

Mountain Top Hiking Club

We are organized for the purpose of hiking local and distant trails, to provide knowledge of trails and scenic destinations, and to teach hiking skills for safe and enjoyable hiking.
